The highly anticipated patch for Batman: Arkham Shadow has arrived, delivering numerous fixes and quality-of-life enhancements for players. The game launched on Tuesday as a Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S exclusive, bundled with any Quest 3S, and any Quest 3 purchased since September 25. This promotion runs until the end of April, after which the game will be priced at $50 for new buyers and those who purchased the Quest 3 earlier.

In our review of Batman: Arkham Shadow, we hailed it as a triumphant return for the Dark Knight, noting how it expertly adapts the beloved series for VR on the Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The review praised the game as “dedicated to the flatscreen Arkham games while innovating in its own way through VR-specific design,” ultimately concluding that it is indeed “a superb return for the Dark Knight.” However, we also highlighted some performance issues and crashes, which were acknowledged by Camoflaj, the developer owned by Meta. They confirmed that these issues would be addressed in Patch 1.0.1.

Players can now look forward to an improved experience as the developers continue to refine the game and resolve any remaining issues.
